Top 5 Christian YouTube teachers that have helped shape my faith in 2021. This past year, I prayed diligently that God will send Flo and I Biblical sound teachers to learn from and destroy any teachings/ideologies that were not of Him. I went back and forth with myself about many teachings that just didn’t sit right with me. So I was thirsty for Truth and understanding.
I found myself fasting and crying in prayer to God to send me teachers to teach me soundly. After a few months of in depth studying about the topics I thirsted for understanding, I decided to just let it go and let God direct me.
Then out of nowhere, when I stopped thinking about the topics; my husband came across new teachers on youtube. It was the answer to my prayers and the perfect timing. While I was focusing on other subjects in Scripture God brought forth His guidance about the topics that I struggled. I plan on talking about it on future posts but in this post I want to share my top 5 YouTube teachers that have helped shape my faith. Let’s go 🙂

To start off the list, Michael Pearl. My top favorite Bible YouTube teacher. This man has been one of the biggest blessings in 2021. He has challenged my beliefs on so many levels. He taught me how to search the scriptures and test doctrines according to the Word. I praise God for this man and his devotion to teach so diligently and soundly. He has a variety of teaching methods, verse by verse, topical, history, devotionals and many more. Take advantage of his teachings and I promise you will not end a video without learning something about our amazing Creator.

My 2nd top suggestion is Verse by Verse ministries. I say this with great sadness, the main teacher at this ministry, Stephen Armstrong, passed away last year due to Covid. It was a very devastating time for Flo and I. We realized we need to pray more for our teachers. Nonetheless, Armstrong has given us access to all his studies. His main focus is verse by verse teaching and he has the majority of the books of the Bible already studied and made available to you on the channel, also on the app. Wesley Livingston is now the lead on the verse by verse teachings. Andy Woods has been one of my favorite youtube teachers in 2021. He has a variety of teachings on Youtube. Such as, Verse by verse teachings. Topical teachings. Eschatology teachings and Church history teachings. One of my favorite series he has on youtube is his prophecy updates, “Pastor’s Point of View”. He uploads a video once a week sharing Prophecy updates and current events that are happening in our nation and across the world. It’s been so fruitful to follow Andy Woods’ teachings and updates.

John Barnett’s youtube ministry “Discover the Book” is exactly what it’s said. He always has amazing topical questions about Scripture that you never may have thought of to help relate the Bible to you. He really does help you discover it. He does verse by verse teaching as well but also has a variety of teachings on his channel. He has devotionals, topicals, and even history. What I really enjoy about his channel is that he also posts just a few minute videos which is perfect for when I have to run to the grocery store or anywhere else that is a few minutes away.

TY Green’s channel is a little different from the first four. His channel is more focused on Bible Prophecy. What I love about this channel is his scripture commentary. His channel takes current world events and Bible prophecy and speaks about the similarities and differences. He always gives insights that I’ve never heard before. His videos are timely and friendly, averaging between 6-20 minutes. Which is perfect while you are drinking your morning coffee.

I am so thankful for the gifts of the Spirit and the Body of Christ who is devoted to helping others learn more about The Creator. The gift of teaching is such a vital part of the Body and we as believers are to lift up our teachers daily. My husband, Flo, is a teacher and I can say from first hand experience they put so much time and effort in studying and praying to ensure others understand and have the resources and tools needed to learn more about God’s word.
