I started doing this since 2010 and how I got into it was when I was a Sunday School teacher for a group of girls, ages between 10-13. One of the girls asked me how she can share the love of Jesus to others, but without using words because she was not as outspoken as the rest of them
If you are struggling with being outspoken and shyness, this is for you. After I prayed and fasted about this, I remembered how I would write Bible verses on post-its. Then I would stick them to my school binders and folders. As I was reminded of this, I questioned myself: ‘If I post these on my binders and folders why don’t I post them throughout my school walls or even my community?’
We hold on to the hope that when the Word of God is spoken/read that it doesn’t go out in vain. Power is released and the rest is the Holy Spirit’s job to convict and work. All we have to do is just get His name (Jesus), out there, and from there on, the little seeds we plant will continue to be watered by the Holy Spirit. This is what it means to be vessels for God.
If you are struggling to share the Word of God, begin with writing Bible verses on post-its. 4 simple ways I started doing this was through my daily/weekend activities in the community.
Table of Contents
1) Receipt Post-Its
Just recently I started to write Bible verses on post-its and stick it on the receipts where I would eat (sit and dine places). Before, I would just write directly on the receipts, one Bible verse and leave it at that. Over 8 years now, I’ve been doing this and I notice how much power it has. The reason why I started writing on post-its instead directly on the receipts was that I had so much more to say to the waiter/waitress. We started to add our website in case they have questions or want to learn more. Sometimes we would include a comment from our conversations if we had any, during the time of us being served. Obviously, you don’t have to include your phone number, address, or even get personal, all that will come in time, to begin with, a Bible verse would do the work.
2) Gym Post-Its
The second way you can share Jesus is at the gym. My husband and I go to the gym 5 days a week and we attend the same gym each time. We always see the same people and the same employees. They got familiar with who we are, so w
3) Shopping Post-Its
A third way to share Jesus if you don’t go to the gym, I’m sure you go grocery shopping or even go to the mall. Those are the perfect places for people to interact with your notes, too. So, why not stamp Jesus in your footprints? Post Him for others to see. Again, you don’t have to share your testimony, but if you can fit it on a post-it go for it. Add it, and stick it. But a Bible verse would do it. Plant those small seeds as you go.
4) Car Window Post-Its
Last but not limited, you can share Jesus on cars. Y’all, we live in the 21st century, there are cars all around us. Pick one or two cars a week or a day, and add Jesus to it. However, I’ve noticed that the humidity in Florida and cold in Michigan don’t hold the post-it note too long on the windows. So I would just stick it under their windshield wipes, to make sure they won’t miss it. If that’s not the case for you, I’m sure you have neighbors. Add a post-it note on their door or even mailbox.
I’ve been doing this for a while now. And I’ve seen the Holy Spirit work wonders in this way of ministering Jesus to others, especially to complete strangers. Get out of your comfort zones with an easy way of planting little seeds and watch as you grow too. Pray over the notes, ask the Spirit to work through them. Slowly, you’ll build the courage to bring the Word to others and strangers, through your own testimony. How awesome is it to witness the love that God freely gives us through His Son, Jesus Christ?! I personally never got tired of post-it idea. Be encouraged and get out there and plant those little seeds.
Be blessed and stay blessed.

Thank you for the sensible critique. Me and my neighbor were just preparing to do some research about this. We got a grab a book from our local library but I think I learned more from this post. I am very glad to see such fantastic info being shared freely out there.
